Yesterday was a bust. Yay for insomnia. NOT! I finally got to sleep about 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. Sadly, I did not get out of bed so nothing accomplished beyond much frustration and gnashing of teeth. So…Here’s to mulligans, do-overs, and REWINDS!
Tomorrow is OKRWA. My CP and I are giving an all-day class on using Scrivener. I did write 1100 words on the MC Hero. And I’ll have publishing news on Monday. 🙂
Who has plans for the weekend? Have a great one no matter what you do!!!

Love Rascal Flatts 🙂 Sorry you didn’t get to sleep until Thursday morning, Silver – but glad to hear you did sleep and stayed in bed to get that much needed rest.
I’m getting a flight down there ASAP so I can take your all day class on Scrivener (really do wish I was closer so I could attend – I am a visual learner and would really benefit from that kind of session). Ooh, publishing news – that sounds fabulous, can’t wait 🙂
Weekend – long here in Canada, eh, so I’ll be gardening, BBQing and, perhaps, lounging on the patio chair with a book and a cold glass of white wine! Bring it on 🙂
There’s a webinar on Scrivener that you can take the free version or pay for the in-depth version. My CP took it and loved it. I don’t have the links but I’ll get it from her and email it to you. 🙂 I took the on-line course from Gwen Hernandez and learned a lot! It’s on a Yahoo Loop but she included screenshots of the lessons that really helped.
I wish you lived closer too!
Excellent – I look forward to getting your e-mail, Silver. I have the Scrivener for Dummies, but haven’t had time to sit and read/play! Maybe on Monday – it’s a holiday and it’s supposed to rain!
Yesterday was a bust for me, too, writing-wise. Too much time spent holding pipes steady while pushing them together so Hubs could get a good crimp – hunched over in the crouch space (too tall to be a crawl space, too short to be a basement) trying not to step on nails and screws the previous owner left scattered everywhere. Pretty much everything hurts, but the crimps held through the pressure test and now I have water in my bathroom, so it’s worth it. Today we do the even shorter crouch space so we have water in the kitchen, laundry room, his bathroom… If I had it all to rewind, I’d still do it this way, though. Still buy this house. Still DIY the projects. I might make myself ten years younger, though. ;o)
Can’t wait to hear your publishing news! and I hope you have an awesome OKRWA meeting. You’ll have to let us know how the Scrivener training went.
The rest of the weekend… plumbing. And reading. And yes, I will get the writing done. Maybe while I’m holding pipes today I can figure out where this book is actually headed.
