I’ve mentioned on numerous Tuesdays (and in comments) that there are times I don’t use a recipe. I’m Southern. I learned to cook in the South. And this explains it all. Enjoy!

BOOK SERIES

Having lived in TN a few years in Normandy…this is spot on. My fruit pies were NOT a hit at the fire department chili suppers ’cause they weren’t fried nor were they chocolate or custard! We were damn Yankees because we originated from Pennsylvania.
I’m totally not laughing. Nope. Not me. Yes, fruit pies should be fried or served hot from the oven with ice cream. All other pies need meringue on tope to be edible. Lemon, chocolate, bananna cream. And yeah, anyone from a state north of the Mason-Dixon is a Yankee. That said, some of my best friends are Yankees. LOLOL Also, according to the hardcore South, I’m NOT Southern. I’m Southwestern. Go figure. 🤷🏼♀️ Doesn’t matter. My family all moved to Oklahoma from the south so it’s in my genes. 😉
Love it!
Glad I could give you a laugh! 😉
What’s my excuse then? I only use them when I am baking because I am much like Rachael Ray in that regard. But I don’t burn the bread.
Don’t burn the bread! First rule. LOL And ya know, cookin’ like Rachel Ray ain’t a bad thing. 😉
