Friday Sinema: For Kin

The Edinburgh Military Tattoo has been on my bucket list for at least half my life–and well before bucket lists were a thing. PBS used to present the Tattoo and I watched it, entralled. The massed pipes and drums of the British military playing in Edinburgh Castle? Be still my heart! And it’s not just music–there are demos and surprise military maneuvers and yes, Fraser “Kin” Kincaid, the hero of CROSSFIRE has appeared in the Tattoo, in a special “performace” by his SAS unit, long before he joined the Hard Target team. After the performance, the pipers and drummers march out of the castle and down the road. The person who made this video was in the right place at the right time. Just wait for it. And yes, Kin and both had to dab out our eyes. Just sayin’… Have a great weekend.
