This is a crunchy brown bits kinda day. Our AC went out yesterday. It was a little warm so the ceiling fans were/are on high–and luckily, we have them in every room. Well, except the loos. Anyway, repair guys are coming this morning around 9 and hopefully it’s only like the fan motor or something. 🤞🏼
Also, FB removed my post from yesterday. Gettin’ really sick and tired of that stuff happening, especially since it’s their “technology” doing it and no humans are involved, including any sort of review. Also, they lie when they say they’ll be in touch with a final decision. Yeah. Right. Anway…

No food today. No titles with character references to said food. When I get hot, I get really lazy so I’m doing this quick post just to touch base. I do, however, have titles. Are you looking for something quirky with warped humor, good stories, eccentric and wacky characters, then I highly recommend the Sunshine Vicram series by Darynda Jones. It’s a trilogy. It’s complete. Which is good because…cliffhangers! The books are A BAD DAY FOR SUNSHINE, A GOOD DAY FOR CHARDONNAY, A HARD DAY FOR A HANGOVER. There’s crime. There’s romance. Did I mention the quirky? I laugh–a lot–while listening to these books.
Edits continue. I really need to get with Only on the cover. I’ll share it when I get the final–hopefully before edits are done.

I agree with the heat being a motivation killer. I had to turn on the furnace for hubs today. At least I know it works. I could have gone until Nov. w/o turning it on.
I just picked up We’ll Prescribe You a Cat by Ishida Syou. It looks cute.

LG overheard part of CHARDONNAY yesterday while I was putting away laundry and he started laughing. It was one of the scenes where Sunshine was embarrassing Auri. We NEVER did anything like that! 🤣 I ended up having to explain the characters and series arc.
AC is back on. I'm soooo ready to just have windows open for a break between AC and Heat seasons. Not sure that's going to happen though the weather gurus are promising more fall-like weather next week. That's too far in the future! LOL Hang in there.
Ack. I hope they got your AC fixed yesterday, although it was probably just in time for the cooler weather. Isn’t that just the way of things sometimes? FB… the turds. They haven’t started denying my posts, but I think they’re shadow banning me or something. I hardly get any reactions to my posts these days – except for people I know are probably making a point to visit my page. As for Milton, Hubs is glued to the weather sites, watching because his mom and his brother are in FL and were in for a head-on until this recent prediction where it will hit further south. Still… blerg.
No real tidbits here. I am a toad. This morning, I got up early enough to attend to blogs, so that’s a step in the right direction. I still really need to start cleaning the house for Saturday when my brother and his wife are due to drop by. They live in your next of the woods, so it’s not a huge trip for them, but it’s not a quick one either. I’m planning on making pizza for them. We’ll sit around, eating and chatting, then they’ll turn around and head back.
That’s quite the roadtrip for Bro and Wife. I’m sure they’ll enjoy the pizza! AC is all fixed which is a big YAY because we’re supposed to break heat records this weekend before the actual cold front hits next week. Turned out to be the starter capacitor so $ instead of $$$ which is a big win. FB is a monster. I just find it totally ironic that they want to lock down people who want likes and shares on social media. Talk about DUH! Anyway…what’s the alternative? Hang in there!
