Tuesday Tidbits: Nuttin’, Honey

It’s Tuesday. Who else celebrates Taco Tuesday? Today, I’m thinking that maybe it should be Tequila Tuesday. I mean…it’s gotta be after noon somewhere, right?

Okay, I’m kidding. Not about tacos but about the tequila. I honestly can’t remember the last time I drank a margarita. In fact, I have a frozen margarita pack thing in the freezer that LG bought me as a joke like…I don’t know…a few months ago? It’s still in the freezer.

Have I mentioned that I collect pun memes? I can’t help myself. And yes, that includes “dad jokes.” There’s a dude I follow on X who is really into puns and bad dad jokes. I always try to hit him back with on from my collection.

To finish off today’s tidbits, I leave you with some things that keep me awake at night. If you have answers, drop them in the comments.

What was the greatest thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Why is bacon called bacon and cookies called cookies when you cook bacon and bake cookies?

And finally, the question isn’t who let the dogs out, it’s who let them in?

No tacos here. No tequila either. (Although, I could make tacos if I wanted to.) ‘Dad jokes’ are always fun. (My dad didn’t tell ‘dad jokes’. He told raunchy jokes. I learned some of my dirtiest jokes from him. He had no filter.) The greatest thing before sliced bread was torn bread, which is why sliced bread was so awesome. LOL about the bacon/cookies thing… and now I want to try bacon cookies. And I always let the dogs in. Inside dogs are the best. ;o)

LOL I’m thinking bacon bits chocolate chip cookies? Or maybe bacon bit peanut butter? My dad told shaggy dog stories. Also, note to self–set out hamburger to thaw for tacos!

I read all this. I will come back after a few more cups of coffee, with a brilliant response!

I haven’t had tequila in years and I loved it.

I have an answer for the first one. The best thing before sliced bread was the knife, so we could slice the bread and kill a few things to put on it to eat 😉.

AS for 2 and 3 – 2. ?You bake cookies in the oven and cook bacon on the stove top? 3. You let them in because you wanted them safe and happy.🩷

The peanut butter bacon cookies sound very good to me. Enjoy those tacos. I’m cooking chicken breast to serve with leftover veggies from Sundays dinner.

    Have good afternoon.

    Bacon…cookies…inquiring minds want to know!!
I love tacos…not just on Tuesday!
I love puns and dad jokes. (Who would have guessed?)
Before sliced bread. Hmmm I guess before that, you needed to peel it off the shovel blade. My question is…if they could make shovels, why couldn’t they make bread pans?

Got something to say?
