Thursday’s Thoughts – Universal Tough

universeWe’re almost half-way through National Novel Writing Month. I’ve hit a few hiccups but have every intention of getting back on track today. I’m learning to multitask so mornings are for NaNo new words, afternoons are for edits and business. We’ll see if I can keep up the pace. The good news is, I found a bit of whimsey for CHRISTMAS MOON and it makes me happy.

For everyone else, I thought this little gem from the Universe was most apropos for the Wrimos among you. And you know? Think there’s probably a time in all our lives where hearing this will give us the ability to get over whatever line and course we need to get tough about.

When you tough it out, hold the line, and stay the course, Silver, I promise you there will soon come a day when you look back over your shoulder, shake your head in dismay, and seriously wonder what all the fuss was about.

Just like all the other times,
The Universe

In fact, in not so many days from today, Silver, it will become clear as a bell that you did have enough time, that you were never alone, and that all of us in the unseen were working double time to help make possible “the time of your life.”

Hmm, that may be the catalyst I need to get back on the wagon today, Silver – thanks for that 🙂

Great schedule you have going there – good luck as we head toward the NaNo finish line!!

    • Silver James says:

*extends hand* C’mon up, Janet. The view is great from the top of the wagon even if the seat is a little hard and the horses/mules/oxen/sled dogs/dragons/trolls/whatever kick up dust/snow. 😉 Now get back on track! You have the whole arctic to traverse! *waves pompoms*

  2. Yeah, I’ve had a couple hiccups this week myself. I had the whole ‘do home stuff during the day / write at night’ thing going on. When the home stuff takes a boatload of energy, though, it derails the night stuff. I plan to get back at it tonight. Come hell or high water (or sore muscles and achy joints). I will tough this out and get 50K by 11/30 – even if means sprinting for the last week. Heh, not like I haven’t done that before. LOL

Good luck getting back on track, Silver. And toughing this out. You can do it!

    • Silver James says:

Yesterday was a waste as far as writing goes but that’s okay. I’m still fighting the crud and slept in today so a late start but I’m clearing the deaks and getting ready to dive in head first! You can get back on track, too. Do it! *shakes pompoms again* 😀

Got something to say?
