Look over there–> On the side there. Blog hop and Holiday Party! Go partake. You might win cool stuff.
Holy moly! College football was totally cray-cray this weekend. I’m rather glad “my” OSU wasn’t playing. We play OU this coming Saturday in the “Bedlam” game. I am sad that Michigan didn’t beat that other OSU. They almost pulled it off!
I spent the weekend beta reading for a close friend. OMG! Y’all!!! I will be yelling from the rooftops when this book is released. No timetable yet. But trust me, it’s so good that even after reading it, I kept getting lost in it as I was going back to make some minor corrections in the formatting.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving–turkey sandwiches, pumpkin pie and the DVD of REDS 2 with the kids on Thanksgiving Eve. Dim sum with Lawyer Guy’s “heart” brother on TGD. Yum! Laid back reading time on Friday. Football on Saturday. Laid back TV catch-up and reading on Sunday.
And now it’s a new week. A new month. The sooper sekrit project is on-going. NaNoWriMo is over. The great mishmash that is THE DEVIL’S CUT will demand my attention soon. What about the rest of you? Was it a good holiday weekend for you? And anyone who says all their Christmas shopping is done will be…I don’t know. Forced to eat whipped cream from the can or something. 😆 What did y’all do?

Sounds like you had an awesome Thanksgiving, Silver 🙂 I, too, roasted a chicken and had all the fixings because you all kept talking about them!! I am easily led, but oh it was good!! And we watched Reds 2, as well – not as good as the first!
Glad to have November behind me – bring on December. Spent a part of Sunday traipsing through the forest for greenery – front door now has Christmas-y pot just waiting for a red ribbon!!
Ugh! I don’t even want to think about Christmas decorating. I should be out there today getting stuff up before it turns really cold this weekend.
I feel like a bear coming out of hibernation this morning. I pulled myself out of my cave and I’m sitting there all yawny wondering what the heck happened over the past month. It’s a blur. And thus, I’m also wondering how the heck it’s December already. I’d ask where November went but I know… it went right in the old NaNo hamper.
It was a good holiday weekend. Lots of reading, lots of football…. yeah for your team, Silver! And thanks for commiserating on the Michigan loss. I’m still at a loss for why they would go for 2 pts in the final seconds rather than kick the point and hope they could pull it out in overtime. I think Coach Hoch was anxious to get home to leftovers or something. And how about the end of that ‘Bama game? Holy cow.
Yeah, haven’t even started for Christmas here, so put down the whipped cream and back away slowly. ;o)
So glad I wasn’t the only one hibernating. 😀 Lets put that whipped cream on another piece of pie and share, ‘kay? 😉
I ate way too much food over the holidays. With the exception of getting a picture of my grandparents copied for all my family, I’m done. No throwing anything at me…I had to finish early since having surgery on my foot on the 13th. Finally having the bunion removed on my right foot and I won’t be doing any shopping after it is done.
You are excused, unless you like eating whipped cream straight from the can! 😉 Glad you are having the surgery but ugh on the time of year. Yay for getting done early, though! Keep us posted about stuff.
almost bought Reds 2- but put it back, just not in the movie mood yet!
Whataburger was my TGD meal- worked thurs/fri getting mom’s house to put on market as is 12/6! Had to laugh mom would crank up the tunes at the house and I did the same, knew she was looking down smiling- going yep she’s mine!
I devoured Christmas Moon ( wrote review GR/Amazon) also Read Striking Distance by Pamela Clare & Bad Nights by Rebecca York and messed with wordpress blog.
So glad you got done with things at your mom’s, Kimber. And I know she was up there dancing with you! I saw your reviews! Thank you!!!! And I’m so glad you enjoyed CHRISTMAS MOON. It was a fun one to write. 😀
