When this popped up in my inbox, I splorted coffee. Considering the deadlines I’m under? Oh yeah, I need the Universe, angels, time, and maybe a few magical critters all on my side.
Fret not, Silver.
Time is on your side.
So are all the angels.
And “no” is never forever.
Yes, now, thank you –
The Universe

Hey, I thrive on pressure, right? So is time on your side or do you feel under the gun on something?

I tend to do better with a deadline. Yes, I usually go right until the minute unless I finish super early. The Universe seems to be channeling the BDB with the feel me comment. 😉
I don’t mind deadlines but I’d rather clear my desk early. I did that as a kid because if I got my work done early in school, the teachers couldn’t yell at me for staring out the window and daydreaming about the characters in my head, or reading. 😀
I’m a cliffhanger – right to the last moment. Like Liza, I thrive on deadlines (which isn’t the best for a non-published writer – *doot-de-doot-doot* instead of *fingers-tapping-keyboard*). Always have!
Good luck with your deadlines, Silver – we’re all on your side!!
Yeah, unless you set self-imposed deadlines, writing can get shuffled to the back burner. Love what you are doing with Jane, though, Janet, so I’m setting you a deadline! My people will call your people to discuss your options. 😉
Hmmm – should I be worried??? LOL
Maybe….*bwhahaha* 😉
At times when something is nipping at my heels to get done, its what I need,
but sometimes I want to*turn around hold hand up and say give me a little space please* because it being rushed will not do a good job.
Good Luck on your deadlines -Silver
Breathing space can be important, Kimber! But like Janet mentioned, we writers tend to procrastinate. 😆
Oh procrastinate is my middle name at times-
come to think of it, first and last also- lmao
*gigglesnort*
Time is usually on my side, but I’m the person who tries to look ahead so I’m prepared for whatever happens. (Which keeps me up at night running through a gazillion possibilities and outcomes for any given situation. Arrgghh.) Of course, right now, I have no deadlines and nothing urgent looming, so it’s easy for me to say I’m prepared. LOL
Ah yes, the endless loop of what if’s…
The time will come my friend when you have deadlines. *nods*
