I’m sort of ashamed to admit that I’ve never read OUTLANDER. I have it on my Kindle but never got around to reading it. Yeah, yeah. I know. I suck as a romance reader. 😆 I am, however, looking forward to STARZ premier of the series coming August 9th. To tease you, here’s a couple of trailers. I should also mention that Jamie is a new TVBF. *swoon*
Official Trailer:
The Disappearance:
And finally, director and stars commentary:
I will have popcorn. And Diet Coke. And I will be watching! How about you? Have a great weekend, everyone.
*psssst* I have an Outlander poster to give away. Stand by it, books, and other goodies coming soon.

Honestly, this series wasn’t even on my radar to read. I think I heard about it, but then again, I thought it was something a Syfy channel show was based off, so I could be wrong. As for the show, we don’t get Starz, so I’m better off not knowing – then I can’t be disappointed. ;o)
I’m excited because Lt. Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter (Investigation Discovery) starts its new season on the 19th. Squee.
I own the book, but have never read it. Really don’t know that I have the desire to read it either. However, I do want to watch the show. Luckily for me, one of my friends is sharing her password into her Starz account so I can watch it online. 🙂 I will however miss the premier as I’ll be in Charlotte at AAD.
No need to be ashamed – I’ve never read it either … In fact, I wasn’t even considering watching the show until you posted these three trailers. I honestly thought there wasn’t much to it as far as plot but if these little snippets are any indication, I am quite wrong!!! And hey, aren’t we all looking for an excuse to add another story to our lives 😉
I’ve read it prob at least 3 times, but its been a long time. I’m re-reading right now to refresh and damn right I’ll be watching. Already warned the hubby the tv is mine that night! ha! Jamie brought to life…*swoons* Yes, I love him and Scotland. You know my first book I ever wrote was a time travel. Girl goes back in time to 17th century Scotland. 🙂 My hero is much more, eh, evil? perhaps than sweet Jamie.
I’m so excited! Can you tell??
