After a dearth of fun quotes in my reading of late, four popped up right in a row!
From the book I’m currently reading, Julie Leto’s PHANTOM PROMISE:
Men are easy to understand. We want what we want when we want it.” ~Paxton Forsythe, the Phantom hero
Some great, to-the-point and FUN! descriptions from Laura Kaye’s HARD TO HOLD ON TO:
Shane McCallan, one of Easy’s Army Special Forces teammates, who now sat at the other end of the big backseat wrapped so far around Jenna’s older sister, Sara, that they might need the Jaws of Life to pull them apart.
and
Besides, he couldn’t sleep worth a motherfuck, so the bed was about as useful to him as a screen door on a submarine.
And finally, from A CURSE AWAKENED: A WEIRD GIRLS NOVELLA by Cecy Robson:
Steps led up to a ramshackle house competing for the title of most likely to hide dead bodies and serial killers.
Tell me, readers…any good words you’ve come across?

Good lines, Silver!
This line from Wish in One Hand kind of amused me yesterday: If he looked this good in his original form, he must’ve been fending off the Viking girls with his horny helmet.
😆 Love that line, B.E.! When the Djinn books get published, they’ll definitely go on my reread list! 😀
Great quotes, Laura’s group always have me *smirking*
Old House has some foundation settling she’s 36 yrs old, hell we
all have settling-lol, so were having to do some pilings, has to be done, so we had to raise the asking price. Good news we had showings yesterday and they want to do offers, they know we are doing the foundation in the next couple of day’s and the asking price, so keep good thoughts.
Happy Hump Day =)
Fingers crossed, Kimber!
Thank you Girlie!!!
Yay for new interest. And yeah, older houses often get settling problems. Getting that fixed will make things more attractive, even if you up the price to pay for it. Just means it’s done and the next owner is good to go. Fingers crossed!
