Y’all know what today is. And you’ll remember where you were when you heard the news. I’m torn between watching the news to see if our enemies will strike again, and wanting to hide from the world and pretend that all is well. I’d been saving this message from the Universe, though I didn’t know why. Until today.
In remembrance of 9/11/2001:
There’s no such thing as a lost soul, Silver.
I know where they are, and everyone makes it home.
Thanks for caring,
The Universe

Tell the people you love that you do. Live your dreams. Thank you for being a part of my life.

Universe pretty much says it aall.
I wrote a poem Never Saying Goodbye, and with this fast pace world we live in we forget simple things, gestures, etc.
Mom and I always said I love you before we hung up, I do that with many.
Thank you for letting us be apart of your writing world and the family.
Gone But Never Forgotten.
Right back at you, Kimber!
Sad, sad day. God bless those still fighting and for those we lost in this heartless act. I may not agree with a lot of the people who run our country, but I do LOVE the USA.
Yes. *nods*
Very sad day. I can still look at the clock and know exactly what I was doing pretty much all day. Sending out big cyber hugs to all!
Yeah as the song goes ‘where were you when the world stop turning”
May they all rest in peace.
There are watershed moments in the life of a person and a country. Pearl Harbor. D-Day. V-E Day. JFK in Dallas. April 19th (Murrah bombing), 9-11. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we didn’t have any more of those?
I know that feeling. I worked for Midwest City Police Department that day, and Tinker Air Force base is in their jurisdiction. Even though we were glued to the coverage, we also were on high alert. It was so strange to have no planes in the air…
Well, i woke up this morning to no internet, so despite my vow to avoid the TV today, I flipped it on to make sure the world was still out there. I don’t think any other day, that would’ve been my first thought. But that’s the world we live in now. =o\
Thank you for being a part of my life, too, Silver. If I haven’t told you lately, you’re awesome. :HUGS:
Holy cow! I would have been totally freaked if I had no net! But I sleep with the TV on so I would have figured out it wasn’t bad stuff happening. LOL Oh, and welcome to cooler temps! Enjoy them. I’m going to!
*hugs* You, and everyone else, tell me every time you visit here and leave a comment. ❤
