Tuesday This-n-That

Jim Hunt Coffee ForecastThis is sort of like Monday on a Tuesday. shiftyeyes There’s a break today from the Christmas Brides so this is my weekend update and stuff like that there. First off, in case y’all aren’t on Facebook or missed the announcement, Harlequin is doing a Goodreads Giveway for COWGIRLS DON’T CRY. You can go HERE to sign up!

MOON SHOT is back from the editors and will be headed to formatting soon. I’m still hoping for a release later this week.

Ilona Andrews (a husband and wife writing team) are going to kill me. I’ve stayed up too many nights in a row reading the dang Kate Daniels series. The good news is, if/when I finish the last book in the series–at least until the next three contracted ones come out–I’ll have met my 200 book Goodreads Challenge for this year. I’ve read more than that because of rereads but they don’t count. *shrug*

I baked over the weekend. Many, MANY cookies plus turtle/pretzel candy. I still have to make rolls for the family and neighbors. I still have a box of Christmas cards sitting on the kitchen table unopened. They may be late. I did get the Christmas wreath, garland, and stocking up on the fireplace. And the centerpiece for the dining room table. The cactus tree is still in the closet. Maybe today.

I need a nap so maybe not today. Today is not the day to run out of coffee. Just sayin’. What have y’all been up to? I feel like I’ve been living under a rock. šŸ˜¦

I LURVE the Kate Daniels Books. I also picked up their new series and that’s pretty good too. Still reading it.

I am so impressed how you can get these books out so fast! My editing takes so LONG. Hoping that gets better over time. Maybe if my writer were cleaner then it wouldn’t take so danged long! Ha!

And yeah, you might think about getting out the tree. Christmas is like 8 days away or something like that. Close! It’s close!

Me, I got preorder links for FUEL…YAYS. May have to tweak my search words for it though. Supposed to get print formatting back today as well – then I can tell my cover artist to hurry up on the full book jacket. I need to design postcards and I’m filling up my schedule for blogs in Jan. — Did I miss anything?

I think I need a nap too, Silver. *headdesk*

  3. The calendar may say Tuesday, but this is so MONDAY I want to hide under a rock. Enough coffee does not exist on the planet to wake my sorry butt up. I had planned to bake cookies today, but meh. I just got back from taking Max to the vet and leaving him there a day early because he’s not eating at all now, so they may have to postpone his tooth-extraction surgery until after they figure out what’s wrong now and get him back to fighting shape. I’ve been up since before 4. And I’m whining. Sorry. But you did ask…

Now I’m going back to bed.

Btw, Christmas cards are always better late than never, and yours from us should be there soon if not already. :hugs:

    • Update: They ran all the tests on Max and it all came back fine, so basically, his mouth hurts too bad to eat. So they gave him something for the pain and he started eating again. They’ll keep him overnight and do his tooth extractions tomorrow. Whew. :collapses:

Got something to say?
