Dang. For a game where I didn’t care who won, that was a heckava game. I actually watched most of it, even though I read through all but the commercials. Because really? The past many years have been all about the commercials as far as I’m concerned. So…my top five?
1. Budweiser Clydesdales – Lost Puppy/Best Buds
2. Snickers – A Very Brady Christmas
3. Mophie – God Knows (the phone battery commercial where it’s the “end of days”)
4. Doritos – Love on a Plane (guy on plane picking his seat mate–the gorgeous gal…with a baby)
5. Kia – Pierce Brosnan (c’mon! PIERCE BROSNAN!) tie
5. Camry/Toyota Dads Tie
Other than the big game, I spent the weekend fighting dizziness and a migraine. No bueno. In between periods with my eyes closed, I read more In Death books. I’m almost half-way through with the full reread.

I watched the entire game…only for my eyes to quit working 5 mins from the end. REALLY!! Aghs! I missed the best part! Geez! At least the team I was rooting for won.
And I loved the Bud/puppy commercial. Another thing, why did they not let Lenny Kravitz sing more! Seriously!
I actually watched half-time, Ash. 😆 And man! The last five minutes was the whole game! I’m betting you can find video of it. It was just…cray-cray. Why Carroll called a pass play is beyond my (and everyone else’s!) comprehension.

I didn’t watch the game. Even though the pickings were slim, I found other things to watch yesterday. So, now I’ll be catching up on all the commercials either online or inserted between other shows like regular commercials. I read some. I set up a writerly FB page. I did some other stuff. It was a Sunday like any other.

I know, right? They’re really good at tugging the heartstrings and I love the puppy and the Clydes. And then the song… Man! You really need to check out the Mophie commercial. It’s so totally warped! But I still laughed. And I’ve learned today that the Dorito commercial is titled “Middle Seat.” 😉
