I just thought RDR#3 was a PITA to write. For the most part, Clay and Georgie understood their story and were ready to play their parts to bring about their Happy Ever After. Their fight was getting into bed. They are all about the googly eyes and tortured sighs but getting them to do the deed? Like. Pulling. Chicken. Teeth! Piece of cake. At least compared to Caleb and Adele. They don’t even meet until Chapter 11. Chapter FREAKING ELEVEN! Okay, there is a reason for that. They have separate stories, investigating separate crimes until their cases cross, and when they do? Yeah, what is they said in Ghostbusters? DON’T CROSS THOSE STREAMS! Except it wouldn’t be any fun if they didn’t.
Anyway, I am making headway. I’m shooting for a Halloween release. Maybe. Or Thanksgiving. Hopefully Halloween. Because…well…y’all don’t want to know what I’m staring at in the way of deadlines. It makes my head hurt. And I get all teeth-gnashy and hand-wavey and…and…*FLAIL* When this message from the Universe popped up on my radar, I knew EXACTLY to whom the big U was referring. *stares at Caleb, Adele, and the whole crew in THE DEVIL’S CUT*
You’ll know they understand you, Silver, when they start appreciating you.
And you’ll know you understand them, when you start appreciating them.
Oh, the simplicity –
The UniverseWhich does not mean you have to fawn all over them, Silver, nor even agree with with them. Sometimes appreciation is the most fun from a great distance… Whoo!
Is there anyone, real or imagined, this fits in your life? You don’t have to mention them. You know, that whole protect the guilty until they’re proven innocent thing… 😉
Hahahahahah Ahem, no not at all. 😉 Hey, I’ll be having an Oct 20th release if you wanna coordinate those bad boys. They both have werewolves… Just sayin’. 🙂
I’m not sure I’ll be ready to release but you know my blog is yours come release time! 😉
