The Universe is back in Romance Author mode. Don’t we, those of us who write, do exactly these things to our characters? Heroes and heroines betray/harm, makes missteps, violate trust, and create emotional disasters before we finally let them find redemption and settle into their Happy Ever Afters.
Just so you know, Silver, there is no harm, misstep, violation, or disaster, that cannot be amended, balanced, corrected, or fixed.

Heh, and yes, what would our stories be if we didn’t throw a huge boatload of crap into our characters’ paths? Boring, that’s what.
I swear authors must have a touch of masochism because we love “torturing” our characters so much! 😆 And yeah, books would be totally boring without it. 😉
