Saw this on Pinterest and thought “TOO CUTE!” so of course I saved it and wanted to share. Also, the paper version of CONVENIENT COWGIRL BRIDE release today. Hopefully, your local brick and mortar stores has it on shelf. My Wallyworld always runs a couple of days late getting the new books up. 😦 In the meantime, have fun with this Halloween treat!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
10 Oscar mayer hot dogs
1 can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls, refrigerated
Mustard or ketchup
Cooking spray
Unroll dough; separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 4 rectangles.
With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough. Cut “legs” and “arms” on each hot dog.
Wrap 4 pieces of dough around each hot dog to look like “bandages,” stretching dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. About 1/2 inch from one end of each hot dog, separate “bandages” so hot dog shows through for “face.” On ungreased large cookie sheet, place wrapped hot dogs; spray dough lightly with cooking spray.
Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw features on “face.” Serve with mustard or ketchup for “dipping.”

If I still had the Kid at home and she was still young enough to appreciate these, I’d totally do it. Alas, she’s on her own and we’re too old to be eating mummy hotdogs. (Mainly because hotdogs… yum, but OMG, no.)
I have my copy of Convenient Cowgirl Bride. I’ll be gobbling that up today or tomorrow. =o)
I hope you like it! I got my final typesets for REDEEMED BY THE COWGIRL late yesterday after returning the revisions yesterday morning and now I’m going to make myself cry all over again as I read it for the final time before it goes to production. LOL
Loved it!
