Definitely WTF. Okay, so I watched it without the sound at first to see which celebrities were reading this Drake thing because I try to avoid too much irritation this early. First reactions: Liev Shrieber is looking old, Ewen is holding up well, and Dev Patel lost his sexy underneath all that hair. Then I listened to it. And I was totally WTF. I didn’t know who Drake was or what ‘One Dance’ was. I thought poetry at first. I assume rap? Bleh. Who’s the sexy dude with the dreamy voice at 35 seconds? Wow.
As per Wikipedia: Aubrey Drake Graham, known simply as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Drake initially gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s.
His song “One Dance” evidently was a big thing. I’d heard his name, wasn’t familiar with the song but the actors and the whole doing the lyrics as serious poetry just made me giggle. I’ll check to see if I can ID the sexy, dreamy-voiced dude. Stand by.
