So…the sun rose again today. Amazing how that works. Both candidates talked a lot about hopes and dreams, and it seems the Universe is on the same wavelength.
Until you dream, Silver, there isn’t a mold.
Until you speak, there isn’t a promise.
And until you move, there isn’t a path.
Yet do these simple things, Silver, and you totally own me.
Friendsters forever,
The Universe

You can put your own interpretation on this passage. Since I’m in the middle of NaNoWriMo and deadlines, I choose to apply it to writing. Writers dream about characters and plots and settings. They create the mold of their story and then they write the words that go from the opening sentence to THE END. That’s the promise–reaching the end and the moving through the story is the path we follow. Yes, simple things which let the author own the story…
Oh, yeah…it really IS all about me! 😉
What are you dreaming about these days?
Wait. I thought it was all about me. Oh, hang on, it’s all about you for you and all about me for me. And all is right with the universe. =o)
I got closer to a regular night’s sleep last night. That’s been a dream of mine. I think it was the hike yesterday. And making myself stay up to watch the Holiday Baking Challenge. (Hubs was busy and I held off watching Kenda so we could watch it together.) I dream of catching fish now that the weather is colder. Simple dreams, really.
Those are good dreams to have. And who won? With what? Not that I plan on doing holiday baking. 😆
I watched the first episode of the new season – the winner of the episode was a guy named Matt who made a filled peppermint mocha bundt cake. The winner of the last season was a gal named Maeve who won the whole shebang with a beautiful cake in the theme of ‘Sleigh Ride’.
Cool!
