Thursday Thoughts: Universal Investment

universeWow. Everywhere I look I see such anger and hate. I’m not going to point fingers no matter how much I’d like to tee off on people. Wouldn’t do any good anyway. Those I’d be pointing at don’t believe they are doing anything wrong. And just so you know, I’d be using both fingers. Just sayin’…

That’s why this bit of wisdom from the Universe seems very apropos. Instead of spewing vitriol, why not stop. Take a deep breath. Look for common ground. Find a way to have civil discourse. Talk about differences and why we feel the way we do. I know that’s asking a lot. But it’s an honorable goal. In the meantime, people should take a page from the Universe.

Investment Advice for Turbulent Times:

‘Nuff said. May we all find peace and calm sailing in the says ahead. Oh, and here’s to the buying and selling widgets. Can’t ever have too many of those, I always say…

  1. Yep. Yep, yep, yep. I keep hoping this’ll die down. But it’s not dying down. So I’m ignoring it where I can.

Definitely, here’s to selling loads of widgets so we have money to buy more widgets. (Widgets being books in this case, of course.) ;o)

Of course they are! And yeah…I can’t look at my FB feed without getting inordinately angry and otherwise rational people frothing at the mouth like rabid animals. Please let this pass soon! Here’s to widgets! 😀

That’s where I’ve gotten, too. I can’t be angry and sad all the time. It takes too much energy, and it won’t solve anything. What’s done is done and I’d rather find a way to fix things that includes everyone in this country, so all needs are met. I’ve decided I’m posting happy things I like because everyone else has the angry covered. lol

    • Silver James says:

I agree. Anger and hate take too much energy but there is so much of it out there, it’s hard to avoid. And at my age, I’ve learned so much of it is…well, never mind. I can only counsel patience. Things often have a way of not being what people think they are.

      • siobhanmuir says:

Yeah, I’m going with patience too. There’s too much misinformation out there to be confident in what’s really going on until the next year. I’m waiting to see what happens because I suspect not everything is as it seems. 🙂
