There’s how many days left until Christmas?!?! I am soooo not ready. If you are, go away! So…updates. There was a weekend. I went basically brain dead. It happens. It also meant I didn’t set up a blog yesterday so this is a late edition. In other news…
Writing: This dang book is killin’ me. The number of brain cells I’ve shed over it is much of the reason for the brain deadness. In other book news, the next Nightrider book was supposed to be Wizard’s story. Until Gunner moved in, along with Gravedigger. We’ll have to see. Once I get past Tucker’s story in the Red Dirt books, I have Cooper and Bridger’s stories figured. I need to figure out Boone and Dillon so I can then do Hunter’s, because I know his story, too. I’m also working on my April entry to Elle James’s Brotherhood Protectors Kindle World. That story is percolating and I’m liking it.
Reading/Listening: Truly enjoying my free trial of Audible Romance and will likely renew it for $4.95 a month since I’m already subscribed to Audible. I’m doing a relisten of Shelley Laurenston’s Pride series. They’re funny shifter romances and it’s been a couple of years. So…free listen. 🙂
TV: I’m bingeing on Hallmark movies. Sh’up. Tis the season. And they all have Happy Ever Afters and I’m a romance writer so I’m always looking for Happy Ever Afters and…and…That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
That’s pretty much what’s been happening. Boring, right? And you notice, I’m not discussing Christmas?
All your books you have in the chute make me tired. I don’t know how you do it. I can’t muster the energy to do anything writerly right now, though, so there’s that. I’m glad you’re enjoying the Audible Romance thing. I’ve only read one of Laurenston’s shifter series – the honeybadger one. It was super fun. I really need to read the rest of them, but… you know how it goes. I still haven’t mustered enough spirit to want to watch Christmas movies. Meh. Bah humbug. Bleh.
Fishing is still the pits, but it’s lovely here, so there’s that. I read Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen and it was really good, despite my initial misgivings. Let’s not talk about the rest of life, k?
:hugs:
