Next Monday is Christmas Eve. Every time I think about it, I have to grab a brown-paper bag and breathe into it. Just sayin’.
So. There was a week before this past weekend. It was a long week. I didn’t accomplish much at all. It happens. I could blame the time of year but I haven’t accomplished much on that front either. No goals met. And I’m all, eh. *shrug* It’s allowed.
So…I’m using my free Audible Romance trial to catch up on some series I’ve read before but now want to listen to. I’m almost done with Shelley Laurenston’s Pride series. I love her shifters. And her humor. She knows her Jersey and Burrough Girls, too. I have two more to finish. I might then try her Magnus Pride series, books I haven’t read/listened to.
Bowl season is starting. The two I’m most interested in are played 12/23 (Army vs. Sand Diego State), 12/28 when OSU goes against Virginia Tech – and that’s the REAL OSU as in Oklahoma State Cowboys, and then New Year’s Day when the OU Sooners take on Georgia in the Rose Bowl/College Playoffs.
My life is so boring at the moment. This pretty much sums up my world. Edits, listening to books, fretting about Christmas, and getting hit with random nap attacks no matter how much coffee I drink. Speaking of, I need another cup. Then I might be ready to face what’s on my To-Do list for this week. What do you have planned?
Umm… next Monday is Christmas. :ducks and runs:
No worries, love. It’ll all be good. If you don’t do another thing toward tinseling up the world, your loved ones will understand. And then you’ll do Christmas and be with your family and that will be awesome. Deep breaths. :hugs:
I’m up to page 33 on my edits for Blink – out of 320pgs, but it’s a start. I’m alternating between ‘I love this book so much’ and ‘everyone will think this is stupid’. But I thought everyone would love Blood Flow and that kind of went splat, so what do I know? Plans for this week: Get through the remaining pages of Blink so I can use the week after to address some of the deeper stuff JC mentioned and I noticed. Shop for Christmas dinner. Work for the biz and help Mom with her year end stuff as much as I can from down here. Find something from my shelves/ereader to read that doesn’t make me want to throw the book at a wall. Rake trails in the woods. Exercise. You know, stuffs.
No one ever accused me of being able to read a calendar! 😆 Ah well. My brain is not fully engaged. What can I say. And yes, it’ll all be good. Awesome on the edits!
Um, you’re a day short on your holidays there sweet heart.
Yeah…I was a little low on the caffeine when I typed it out. Still can’t read a calendar. 😉
