Friday Sinema: Men

I’ve caught some flack for writing unabashedly alpha heroes. Tough shitstuff. I will continue to write them because I know far more men like these than I do the other kind. FYI, I’ve put more than my share of the other kind behind bars, but I still believe in real men. Just sayin’…

  1. I’d heard about that ad, but I hadn’t seen it yet. Thanks! I haven’t seen the other one and I don’t plan to.

The only thing I’d prefer is if they added some statistics like the number of first responders who are men, the number of men who save lives, how many lives they’ve saved, etc. The positive heroic stuff men do. Know what ah mean? ;o)

Yeah. I’ve only caught a brief glimpse of the other one. Lawyer Guy saw the whole commercial and he is now boycotting all Gillete products.

Sadly, those stats would probably set off the feminazis because there are so many men in those occupations. Yes, women are first responders too–*raises hand* been there, done that, still wear the T-shirts and ballcaps–but it’s still primarily men who respond.

Got something to say?
