Breakfast for dinner! Breakfast for brunch! Breakfast for breakfast’s sake! Who doesn’t love breakfast? Especially one you make ahead.

Total Time: 13 Hr 5 Min
Prep Time: 15 Min
Cook Time: 12 Hr 50 Min
Enjoy this Easy Ham and Cheese Bake that will please any brunch crowd. Dig into this ham and cheese bake full of cheesy goodness and waffles. You’ll love sharing this dish at a gathering with friends and family.

What You Need
10 frozen waffles (4-inch diameter)
12 KRAFT Singles
1 pkg. (7.5 oz.) OSCAR MAYER CARVING BOARD Slow Cooked Ham, chopped
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
2 cups milk
10 eggs

Let’s Make It
1 – Layer half each of the waffles, Singles and ham in 13×9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray, cutting waffles as necessary to fit dish; repeat layers.
2 – Microwave cream cheese in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 to 40 sec. or until softened; whisk until creamy. Gradually add milk, about 1/4 cup at a time, whisking after each addition until blended. Whisk in eggs. Pour over ingredients in baking dish; cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight.
3 – Heat oven to 350ºF. Bake casserole (covered) 50 min. or until knife inserted in center comes out clean, uncovering for the last 20 min.

Kitchen Tips
Tip 1 – Variation: Prepare using KRAFT 2% Milk Singles and PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese.

Tip 2 – Special Extra: Serve topped with maple-flavored or pancake syrup. Special SPECIAL extra (my variation): Use bacon instead of ham because…BACON!

Tip 3 – Savory Waffle, Ham and Cheese Bake: Prepare as directed, whisking 1 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard and 2 sliced green onions into egg mixture before pouring over layered ingredients in prepared baking dish and baking as directed.

For all the details, head over to Kraft’s MY FOOD AND FAMILYsite. Believe it or not, today’s recipe can’t be attributed to any of my heroines. Nope. Today, the guys are taking charge because Mac and Liam McIntire make this dish for Hannah for Mother’s Day. Or they do now that they’ve settled down in Bladd’s Gap. They serve this up with a big ol’ cup of coffee, just the way Hannah likes it. If you’d like to learn more about Wolf shifter Mac, his crazy-ass (as described by a few fans) wife Hannah, and their way-too-smart son Liam, I strongly suggest you start at the beginning with MOONSTRUCK: SECRETS, followed by MOONSTRUCK: LIES. Then you can coast through the individual stories until you hit MOON SHOT, which is today’s sponsor. 😉 Just click on the titles or the cover of MOON SHOT to grab your copy of any of the books.

When do you eat breakfast?

  1. Ooo, sounds super yummy! I bet there’s a lot of variations you could do with this. Shredded cheddar, ham AND bacon… The possibilities are there. Mmm. It’d take the two of us days to finish this, though, so I might save it for a special occasion.

You know me. I love LOVE Mac and Liam and Hannah. I can totally see the guys whipping this up for her. =o)

Yes! Lots of variations and I’d bet you can halve or quarter the recipe. 🙂 You know, 4 eggs instead of 10. Four waffles instead of… Well, you get the idea. 😉
