If you go about your daily life freely, thank a veteran.

I thank mine every day for being a wonderful, kind, and caring man, husband, and father. I’m blessed that he picked me to join his life to mine.

Look around the world. Look at the oppression. Look at the horrible things that governments force on their citizens. Look at the terror that women and members of the LBGQT community experience. Look at elections that aren’t free, where votes don’t don’t count unless you vote for the favored canditdate, or those places where there are NO elections.

I went to three kindergarden soccer games this weekend. One opposing team was coached by a pair of moms who were partners. One team was coached by a woman of Japanese descent. One was coached by a black man. Boys and girls of every description played together on those teams. Think what you will about the USA, I’m proud to be an American.
