Thursday Thoughts: Universal Sanity

As everyone likely knows (since none of you live under a rock 😉), I had a book release this week. It’s doing well. This makes me have a happy. And any author will tell you that book releases makes us crazy. Worry about sales. Worry about whether the readers will like the book. Worry about…what to fix for dinner. Okay, maybe not that last one. Usually. That happens during deadlines. But I digress. Releasing a book is a crazy time. Writing a book is crazy. But when you write romance, you get to add all that is crazy about love–about relationships, about what makes us idiots when we fall in love. But then the Universe dropped this into my inbox…

Sometimes the best way to remain sane, Silver, is to love like crazy.

Works for me,

Everything, everywhere and everyone, Silver.

You know what? I think this works for me too. So…I’m going to love like crazy–everything, everywhere, and everyone. And my heroes and heroines are going to do the same. What about you?

  1. Yay for your book release! It’s an awesome book and I totally loved it!

I don’t know about love, but I’m back to working again – kicking my own ass all the way. ;o)

Yay! Back to work, even kicking your own ass to do it, is a Very Good Thing! I’m really pleased with the reception FFE has gotten and backlist sales have perked up. Just goes to show I need to get new stuff out there on a regular basis. Now, get to work! Me too!!!! (Somebody needs to come up with a kick-my -ass emogi… Just sayin’… 😀 )

Got something to say?
