I’m not a famous author. At best, I’m mid-list but hey. I sell some books. I get the occasional bit of fan mail. and I’ve made friends of some of my readers. S’all good. But you know what? The Universe has a point. None of us are born famous. Okay. MOST of us aren’t born famous or world-class or celebrated. Sometimes it does matter who you are rather than what you are but that’s a discussion for another day. Today is about journeys.
The one thing all famous authors, world-class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field have in common, Silver, is that they all began their journeys when they were none of these things.
Yet still, they began their journeys.
You are so poised for greatness,

One day, they’re going to name something big after you, Silver! Like a statue, a college… or a hurricane.
With my luck, it’ll be the hurricane! 🤣🤣🤣 But even hurricanes travel. They have to start somewhere as a small tropical dpression and then they build to a tropical storm and then all the things come together and a hurrican forms. Athletes start by learning to walk. And when they start to run or hit balls or make baskets or throw footballs or ride horses or pick up an epee or a rifle or hockey stick or whatever sport they pursue, they practive. They might have talent but if they don’t work at it, practice, get better, they won’t achieve that world-class status. Singers. Actors. Dancers. They start with a grain of talent and they work their tails off to climb the ladder of success. Sometimes, luck plays a part. Sometimes it doesn’t. And sometimes, no matter what we do, we never hit those lofty goals. But you know what? We try. We take our grain of talent and we work to improve on it. We don’t give up. And isn’t that the bottom line? Never give up? Never give in? So i’ll keep writing and maybe, if the Universe is right, I’ll achieve my goal of being on a best-sellers list. If not, no biggie. I’ll have told some amazing stories, shared them with people who enjoyed them and I’ll have left my small mark on the world. That’s nothing to sneeze at my friends. Nothing at all. What journey are you going to start today?
