I tend to apply many of the messages from the Universe that pop up in my inbox to writing. Why? Because I’m a writer and that’s what I tend to visualize–the stories in my head. See, the Universe is big on visualizing what we want to occur. Which is what writers do. Anyway, this message popped up and I said to myself, “Self, isn’t this what writing and editing is all about?” And myself answered right back, “I think you’re right…or write as the case may be.” Writers are always looking for ways to say exactly the right thing and exactly the right time.
Until everyone believes in their own ability to say exactly the right thing, at exactly the right time, to exactly the right person, then allow me:

I’m not so sure about everyone wanting to be my friend though. That said, I DO want them to want to be friends with my characters. If readers find one of my characters to root for, one who’d they’d like to have for a friend, then I’ve done my job. And with the current WIP, the heroine’s nickname is Pink. So yeah, her hero is tickled… 😉 What makes you tickled pink?
