Friday Sinema: It’s Not the Heat…

So. It’s Friday. At last. What a week! And Summer has arrived with a vengeance. Around here, the “actual” temp might only show 90, but with 94% humidity? Yeah…we’re under a heat alert. It really is a souther thing as you can see. Have a great weekend and stay cool!

  1. ROFL!!! Yeah, the hair thing is totally right. My hair is so POOFY. I’ve given up trying to make it behave. The only other thing they could’ve added was how quick baked goods grow mold in this climate. It seems like I can’t leave any of them out even overnight anymore. In CO, I used to be able to just throw plastic wrap over it and leave it on the counter. Here? Ugh, no. I threw out so much stuff before I accepted that EVERYTHING has to go in the fridge.

Pretty much. The one exception is store-bought sandwich bread. Which makes me wonder WTH they put in the dough! 😂 And I’m lucky. I have straight hair that’s short. And back when it was long? Ponytail, baby. That’s all I wore. Trying to keep curls? No way. Get your errands done early and hit the AC! That’s what I’m doing today. I did my outside stuffs at 6:30. I’m not stepping foot out until tomorrow.

Got something to say?
