Friday Sinema: Skye Song

I watched “Outlander” for a few seasons. I never read the book, much less the series, though. While I enjoyed the HBO series (for awhile), I found the best part of it was the soundtrack. One of the songs sprinkled throughout is the Celtic folk song, “The Skye Boat Song.” This video popped up at the end of another video I watched, and besides the “commercial” sponsorship, I found the history and the music very interesting. Grab your beverage of choice and settle in for about 10 minutes to learn and listen. Have a great weekend, all!
