Friday Sinema: Sing Along

So…I saw this… And I thought, “Self, you’d go to Mass with this priest.” And I would. Father Ray reminds me a lot of the Episcopal priest who officiated at my dad’s memorial serive. As we were planning things, I mentioned that dad really liked “Amazing Grace,” and had mentioned truly enjoying hearing the kids in the church sing it with accoustic guitars. Father Tim grinned and mentioned learning how to sing the “Gilligan’s Island Theme” to the tune of “Amazing Grace” while in seminary. He then proceeded to sing it. I laughed and it truly lightened my heart. And yes, the kids did their version of the song at the service. Anway, I stumbled across this and thought two things–I’d go to Mass and this guy needs to be on Britain’s Got Talent.

Lo and behold, the next video up…

Can I call ’em or what? Have an uplifting weekend, all.
