Friday Sinema: Inspiration

It’s Fry-yay again. No big plans. Just kicking back, staying in on these hot August nights and watching baseball. Life is good, yeah? In the meantime, I’ve been surfing “The Voice” videos again. This is is shorter. Once contestatn. From Austrailia. She is amazing–her humor is as vast as her talent. I smiled, I was awed, I laughed, and yeah, I teared up a bit. In a happy way. Start your day off right and watch this one. Have a great weekend.

  1. That was pretty awesome. Thanks! And she totally picked the right coach. I mean, I’m not sure who any of them are, but that one seemed like the most genuine. Cool. =o)

Yeah, it made me smile and totally inspired me. As for the judges, the one she sang with and evidently chose was Guy Sebastian. The other dude is Keith Urban, C&W star married to Nicole Kidman. The two gals are Jessica Mauboy (blond) and Rita Ora (dark hair). Those three are huge stars in Austrailia but haven’t–to my knowledge–transitioned much to the US yet. Anyway, glad you enjoyed. Have an awesome weekend!

Hi and good morning Silver, Thought of you when I read this article and wanted to share. You might find something interesting in it.(Books are my food and lifeline. The thing that can cause instant physical panic is no book within reach)(Well, yes, I have worked in war zones in the Middle east a lifetime ago, so I know danger is relative, but…) Wishing you and family a good weekend,, from cloudy, wet, west coast of Norway. (for May, June, July, only 3 days of sun. So different from the reports from the USA) https://www.theguardian.com/books/2022/aug/13/books-bring-us-into-being-how-writing-about-reading-became-an-inspiring-literary-genre-of-its-own?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
