Friday Sinema: Brothers

I have the feeling this video will be the inspiration for a scene when I get back to my Cajun Wolves. A bit of background. In 2010, the band Parmalee had finished a show. Brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead singer and drummer) returned to their RV where they were robbed at gunpoint. Scott was shot three times, was given a 5% chance at recovery, was in a coma for 10 days, and then 40 days, later, he was up, moving, and ready to return to Nashville. When the band recording the song “Gonna Love You,” they decided that it was time to finally “talk” about the incident. You can read about it HERE. Here’s the video, and yeah, I like it a lot and yeah, my Cajun Wolves are brothers under the skin if not by blood.
