So. Yeah. I’m “late.” I normally set up the blog the day before because I don’t really want to get up at 5 a.m. and be coherent enough to craft sentences that make sense fron inchorent thoughts. I am NOT a morning person. But some guru once advised that 6 a.m. was a good time for bloggers in my time zone to release the new blog. That way, it appears or is already in the inboxes at a time when most readers check the intrawebz or their mail.

Anyway. Yesterday started out okay. Then stuff happened. By the time I realized that I’d forgotten to do a blog, it was time to fix dinner. By the time dinner is over, dogs fed, and clean-up done, I’m ready for bed. Ah, insomnia. I was only up four times last night and for once, none of them had to do with PITA Pup. I really should stop calling him that. He’s a sweet boy, just stubborn. But he is getting better about the overnight shennanigans.

In addition to the above, I’m trying to ease the critters back to standard time. I confess. I am a staunch supporter of and believer in STANDARD TIME. I can’t wait for November 2 when we get off Daylight Savings Time. I never switche4d the two wall clocks in the house. The one in my office proudly proclaims that it is 6:22. My phone says it’s 7:22. I want the boys to start “sleeping in” so they want out at 6 a.m. instead of 5 a.m. because I want to sleep until 6, instead of getting up a 5 because the clock says so. Anyway…

Okay, enought whining. I will sign off with some humor. Okay…honestly? Bad dad jokes.
