If It’s Tuesday…

…It must be time for tacos! Yesterday slipped away. I had two tech guys all over the utility pole in the backyard yesterday so interenet was hit and miss and then I wanted to try something different for dinner and…and…I totally blanked about doing a blog for today. And didn’t remember until just now. Come back tomorrow for words! Enjoy your tacos. 😉This pretty much sums up my mentality at the moment.👇🏼👇🏼

Also, it’s Veteran’s Day. Thank all those you know for their service and the sacrifices made by their families while they served. Thank you, Veterans! ❤️

What was the something new for dinner? Are the issues all fixed now with AT&T?

We had around 7 inches of snow since yesterday morning. Only 5 stuck. The ground was too warm. Sunday it will be in the mid 60’s – go figure.

    Have a good day.

Issues all fixed–inside and out. I had to laugh at the outdoor techs. The indoor tech would have enjoyed their plight as well.

The new for dinner was a “let’s try this” lasagna. I fried to large boneless chicken breasts in olive oil then “shredded” the meat. I used “bake in the oven” lasagna noodles (will use regular-I-cook-them next time), fresh baby spinach which turned out to be baby spinach and kale…(I can read labels🙄)…with ricotta and mozzarello cheeses. Oh, and Bertoli Alfredo sauce. I layered, noodles, ricotta, spinach, chicken, mozzarella, sauce, noodles, sauce, mozzarella. But for the noodles being a little tough, it was tasty. I’ll make it again

I’m jealous of your snow, but not really. It’s gorgeous here now that it’s warmed up a little. Perfect fall days.

Hope you’ve had a good week so far!

Veterans Day, Armistice Day here, Remembrance Sunday 2 days ago.

I attended the observance on Sunday here in Bergen, Norway, at the 45 WWII war graves of British & Commonwealth boys who died in this area, all so terribly young.

NATO, Norwegian, Commonwealth military, and Consuls for Canada, Britain, participated.

And bagpipes. In rain and cold, which mask the tears of reality.

Later, a Canadian man said his father (Norwegian), as a boy, had watched an Allied plane crash into water in central Bergen . The crew died. It stayed with him for life.

Wow. Those are some powerful images, Rise. The rain has always been the tears of the world but I know of no one who would deny their own with the bagpipes playing and the souls of those who gave their lives to protect us watching in from the shadows. Thank you so much for dropping by and sharing this.

I haven’t gotten a whole lot of creative meandering done today either. Posting that recipe was about the extent of my energy. (I have a new puzzle going and that was probably a lot of the reason)
