Tuesday Treats & Titles: Moonstruck Cinnamon Roll Bundt Cake

Moonstruck Cinnamon Roll Bundt Cake
Yield:12 servings
Prep time: 5 minutes Minutes
Cook time: 35 minutes Minutes
Total time: 40 min

Ingredients
2 Jumbo Cinnamon Roll packages (I use the Pillsbury rolls)
1 Standard Cinnamon Roll package

Instructions
1 – Preheat oven to 350℉
2 – Generously grease a 12-cup Bundt cake pan.
3 – Open cinnamon roll packages as per the instructions on the package
4 – Place the regular sized cinnamon rolls in the bottom of the Bundt cake pan.
5 – Place the jumbo sized rolls around the outer and inner edges of the pan.
6 – Place into oven at 350 Fahrenheit and bake for 30 – 40 minutes.
7 – Place on cooling rack for 5 minutes, flip cake over and let cool for 1 hour.
8 – Remove Bundt cake pan. Drizzle with icing if desired.
9 – Drizzle with the icing included in the cinnamon roll packages.

Tips
Note: To prevent overbaking, check the internal temperature after 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and insert a thermometer into the center of the cake. The cake is done when the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit. If more time is needed, return the cake to the oven and check temperature every 5 minutes.

Have guests coming for the holidays? Need a quick dessert or easy breakfast? Boy have I got the recipe for you! Talk about easy peasy and quick? And the only clean-up is the bundt pan. Everything else disappears into the trash can.

And yes, even Hannah has made this dessert. Even more awesome, if she’s busy, Liam can–and does–make it.

“Yo, Silver! I’m gettin’ effin’ tired of you saying even Hannah can make this. You keep throwin’ shade at me. I can cook. Mostly. Sort of. I mean, look at my kid. He didn’t skip any meals.”

Me, sitting here biting my lips because Liam is standing behind his mom doing that whole Chevy Chase SNL New mocking schtict.”

“My son is standing behind me, isn’t he?”

Me, nodding, big-eyed and really trying not to laugh. Laughin at Hannah can be dangerous.

“You know, son, I brought you into this friggin’ world and I can take you right back out of it.” Liam leaves, laughing. “Do you see what I have to put up with? Look, all you readers out there, I need some back up here. Go buy MOONSTRUCK: SECRETS. It starts at the very beginning of my story and has a lot more info than the Original BLOOD MOON. I mean, don’t get me fu-rrrricking wrong. That’s a good story but it just gives you the basics. Plus, you get Lightfoot and Liz’s story. It’s a good one. Not as good as mine and Mac’s because we are fu-rrrigging awesome. Just click on any pic that has the cover or on the titles. Through internet magic, you’ll end up at Books2Read and you can find your favorite on-line bookstore. And see? I told I wouldn’t fucking cuss.”

Make Hannah’s–and my–day, folks. Go buy the book. Or, if you already have the book, read it and leave a review. And enjoy this great breakfast/dessert cake.

ROFL… I love Hannah! And this sounds really yummy.

I have the book(s), I left the reviews, and I wish I could do more to get people to buy these books… hell, all your books. They rock.

The feeling is mutual. You’re at least being proactive to get people to download/read yours. I’m just lumpen along doin’ nada on the marketing side. I know from the early days that the best thing for sales is to write and publish a lot. I just don’t have the energy any more. As you say, *sad trombone noises* Also, I love Hannah too and yeah, yummy in the tummy!

That was so cute! I love Hannah!

What an easy yummy treat. Thank you.

I hope your day is going well. Mine – the same as it’s been for a couple weeks now. I need this arm to start feeling better.

    Take care.

This is something easy that you can probably do mostly one-armed. I hope your doctor has you scheduled for regular check ups on it. If not, if the pain persists, I’d get in to see ’em to make sure it’s healing correctly. Better safe than sorry! Hang in there. Sending good and healing thoughts your direction. ❤
