I get an email newsletter from Tor.com that keeps me up-to-date not only on their books but all things SciFi and Fantasy. For instance, I don’t pay attention to comics or video games so I’d never heard of the R.I.P.D. comic (Rest In Peace Department). It’s sort of “I see dead people” meets “Men In Black.” There’s a movie coming out in July. With Ryan Reynolds. And Jeff Bridges. You can get more info HERE and watch the trailer below. The trailer explains the premise far better than I could. This one is going on my watch list. Happy Friday!

I somehow missed this movie in the email. So many movies I’m excited about in the next few months! Tomorrow I get to watch my brother run his 1st Nashville marathon and many friends finish half marathon. Pray rain holds off until after 10 am please. 🙂
Good luck to your brother! I’m working communications at one of the aid stations on the OKC Memorial Marathon on Sunday. We’ve been watching the weather with a worried eye because of temperatures. Better to be cool than hot! Not sure about the rain. They run here unless there is lightning and/or severe weather. Have fun, Liza! 😀
Ooh, looks great (definite MIB vibe to it). I love Ryan Reynolds – this will go on the must see (DVD, of course – so we’ll have to wait a bit longer).
Have a great weekend!!
Yes, definitely DVD. We don’t do the theatre and some movies we wait until cable only. This one? Yeah, DVD. 😀
That movie looks AWE-SOME. I think that’s Jeff Bridges, though. Beau’s not as pretty. (Or whatever, because Jeff’s not pretty anymore either.) And I’ve loved Ryan Reynolds ever since Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place.
Happy Friday to you, too. =o)
Oops. You’re right. It is Jeff. Fixed! *blush* Can I claim deadline brain? If the movie is anything like the trailer, I can’t wait for the DVD!
Deadline brain is an acceptable excuse, but don’t let it happen again. ;o)
*snerk*
I will be spending all day thusday with the Iron Man Marathon leading up to the new movie at midnight. Also looking forward to this one. And Star Trek. And The Lone Ranger.
