Monday’s List of Things to Do

Well…dang. My to-do list of last week didn’t quite get finished. 😦 I would have marked off everything but for a couple of wrestling sessions with HTML code on the OKRWA site–and by a “couple”, I mean two days’ worth! *sigh* Oh well. Today, the rest get done. The good news is, THAT OL’ BLACK MAGIC is out with the beta readers. My CP has returned her edits. I hope to be working on them this afternoon. Tomorrow, I have every intention of opening the files for SEASON OF THE WITCH while waiting on beta reader reports.

In the meantime, here’s a to-do list for y’all! I haven’t done a Linky-Link List in awhile so here! These are awesome. You’ll want to take the few minutes involved to check them out. Seriously! Have I ever steered you wrong? 😉

In the meantime, how was your weekend? (I’m not talking about mine. My lips have to be sealed for awhile. shifty-eyes-ani2faster

1. NINE LOST CITIES THAT HAVE BEEN FOUND

2. 9 COMMON MOVIE MISTAKES that drive the author (and ME!) nuts.

3. GAME OF THRONE CHARACTERS AS CATS. If you love this series, you must click through on this. I laughed hard enough to scare Adidas! 😉

Now go forth and be productive this week! *wanders off in search of more coffee*

I was sick all weekend, so pretty much moved from sofa to bed reading all weekend. Did finally remember to do a load of laundry yesterday. Luckily I’m only working 2 days this week, so I’ll have time to do laundry and cleaning on Wednesday. My reward for cleaning will be getting a mani on Wednesday afternoon. 🙂

  2. Sorry your to-do list got derailed. But you got a lot done.

Me? I read an awesome pre-published book and sent those notes off. Finished an interesting take on HG Wells ‘War of the Worlds’ as seen through Jack London’s eyes. (After the Lean Winter by David Farland). And read the first book in Stephanie Bond’s Mad About You box set – License to Thrill. Oh, and we finished the yard project (for the most part). Today is supposed to be a day off. Yeah, right. We’ll find something. LOL I’ve also spent some time thinking about book 3 in the Djinn series – because *someone* lit that fire. (Like I need a new book to distract me from all the edits I’m supposed to be doing. =op)

😳 So glad you liked it and your suggestions rock! Your yard is looking pretty darn spiffy, too. You deserve a week of rest, re laxation, and…oh…a little writing and plotting maybe? 😉 *whistles sinnocently* …. *rubs two sticks together* …. *fans flames*

Felt like a slug all weekend – did finish a great book I borrowed from the library (and will be blogging about) on Saturday (sitting in a chair on the patio all day – love it), then did a 25 mile combo run/bike/run on Sunday…then sat in the chair on the patio all day because I was too tired to do anything else).

Don’t be too hard on yourself about your To-Do list – like B.E. said, you got a lot done!!

Finished off the critique/edits for my CP this morning. I’ve been to the grocery store in case I have to loan the kids my car. Their van bit the dust Saturday and is at the garage for diagnosis after being towed this morning. Hopefully, it won’t be a big major/expensive fix. Van Haulin’ was mine, is almost 14 years old and has well over 100K miles on it. The kids are hoping for another 50+K miles out of it.

Now to catch up with emails, blogs, etc. and then I’ll finish off the last 3 items on my to-do list and I’m free and clear for writing tomorrow! *happy dances*
