After the rain Saturday morning (and the loss to West Virginia by OSU), the rest of the weekend turned out really nice. The weather is beautiful. This is why I love autumn. Crisp days, cool nights, bright blue skies. I feel invigorated in the fall. The hot, dog days of summer are a memory. Gone is the lethargy and necessity for lounging under the AC. Yet to come are the cold, dark-comes-early days of winter when the north wind howls and I want to curl up under a blanket and read.
I thought I was going to have at least one announcement today, but I’ve been told I have to wait a day or two. There’s another bit of news also hanging out there and each week that goes by, I hope I’m closer to knowing. Maybe this week. Maybe next.
Today I start writing again. I’m going to open three projects and see which one grabs Iffy’s attention. I can talk about two of them and you can vote. 😆 First is the Hard Target series that’s got a couple of pages done. Second is THE DEVIL’S CUT, Book 2 in the Penumbra Papers and Caleb’s story. The third is an idea that’s been noodling around in the back of my mind–either a novella or a category length contemporary just for fun.
Who had fun this weekend? What’s up with you this coming week? Me? Besides writing, I’m guest blogging about attending HOT MOJAVE KNIGHTS tomorrow. I’ll post the link tomorrow.
