It’s Friday! A week from today, I’ll be doing final packing, gathering up The Only and then we’ll be jetting our way to Las Vegas for Hot Mojave Knights! We can’t wait!!!

Even the morning after a night of insomnia is full of promise and opportunity. I can look at it as a way to get a jump on my day, or I can pout because I didn’t get my full complement of sleep. If I don’t get finished today, there’s tomorrow. If the path I’m on comes to a dead end, I can look for a fork in the road. I’ve received a lot of chances, and given a lot of them. That’s what makes life interesting. And heavens, who wants to limit the people who touch our lives? Each relationship brings something new and exciting.
You know what they say, right? About one being the loneliest number? It’s true. And the Universe is right. Each one of us needs to live like we have 10,000 lives waiting for us!

Wow, powerful message today from The Universe! And what a fabulous way to look at life – every day (I tend to do the “Fresh Start” thing at the beginning of months, and definitely at the beginning of a new year, but why not the beginning of every day). Thanks for sharing that with us, Silver 🙂

😀 That’s the attitude, Janet! We all tend to get tunnel vision and depressed. I’m going to do my best to keep this in mind when I wake up grumpy and out of sorts!
Only a week until Vegas? Well, I’ll miss seeing you here while you’re away, but I hope you guys have a blast.
My door has a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign it, I think. (Or maybe it’s an “Already Disturbed” sign.) Once I figure out how to get rid of it, maybe something will come knocking. Right now, though, I think I need to stop waiting for something to come to me and just make something happen.
You won’t miss me for long. We fly out at noon on Friday and will be home about midnight on Sunday. I’ll try to remember to post something for Monday so I can sleep late. Maybe. 😆
Don’t make me come up there and rip that sign off your door. Besides, most people ignore it like they ignore my NO SOLICITING sign RIGHT NEXT TO MY FREAKING DOORBELL! Grrrrr.
And yes, stop waiting for something to come to you. Go find it, make it happen, chase it down, hog tie and make it your bi….Uhm…well…You know what I mean. 😉
