I’m having coffee with two writing buddies this morning. Not that I need a break or anything but simply because every once in awhile, it’s fun to get together and talk about writing, brainstorming, wins, and losses.
Since I’m off enjoying the caffeine life, lets talk about coffee! Ev sent me a little desk calendar with daily random coffee facts. The two that made me laugh so far are both quotes.
I’ll quit coffee. It won’t be easy drinking my Bailey’s straight, but I’ll get used to it. It’ll still be the best part of waking up. ~”Karen” (Will and Grace).
AND
If it wasn’t for coffee, I’d have no discernible personality at all. ~David Letterman
Not a big Letterman fan but I can identify. And the Bailey’s reference cracked me up. My question to y’all this cold, rainy, dreary Friday is this… How do you take your coffee? Maybe this chart will help you decide. 😉

I love this and it’s going out on Facebook!!!
Take Care and God Bless 🙂 Kenny T
Welcome, Kenny! Thanks so much for the like and share. I hope you’ll drop in often.
While I love Irish coffee, I don’t fix it nearly enough. I usually hit Starbucks for a latte so I’m an espresso girl most of the time. We do have a keurig at work now…just need to buy almond milk to keep there for my coffee.
After the day I’ve had, I’d go for Irish tonight, but I’m thinking something stiffer! 😉 I like vanilla soy in mine.
Great quotes (gotta love Karen off Will and Grace)! As for me – good old regular coffee, 2 cups every morning!
TGIF – have a great weekend 🙂
I owe you mail, Janet! Maybe I’ll actually get it written, addressed, stamped and to the PO this weekend. Or maybe I’ll just drink more coffee. 😉
I love Karen. And that episode is awesome. Jack becomes addicted to coffee because there’s a hot guy at the coffee shop, so Karen offers to quit coffee with him, but ends up giving up alcohol instead. And hilarity ensues. (Jack and Karen really made that show.)
It takes regular coffee just to get me up to ‘decaf owl’ status. They should have a comatose owl to show what ‘no coffee at all’ looks like. ;o)
😆 B.E. I agree. Sleeping owl definitely would describe me! I wasn’t a regular fan of Will and Grace but Karen and Jack were the reasons I watched when I di. I think I need more coffee now…
Coffee does a body good! At work its w/ creamy choc creamer. At home with my Kreig, its light roast (grn mtn), organic java love w/ milk, or baileys ( real or none) Starbucks must wonder where I’m at, since I got new machine, I don’t go much, it is a venti latte no foam when i did.
I actually drink it pretty much every night, besides AM anyone else?
Love the owl chart!
Kimber, I can drink coffee at 11 pm and be snoring by midnight. If I’m lucky. If the insomnia kicks in then I could drink warm milk and still be wide awake at dawn. 😛
I actually prefer Cafe du Monde chicory coffee with steamed vanilla soy milk. Steamed as in my microwave. 😆 I’m a cafe au lait kinda gal. 😀
