The Super Bowl happens Sunday. I’ll be watching pregame and game as much for the entertainment value of the commercials as I’ll be watching the game–though I am a fan of Peyton Manning. 😉 Anyway, with that “commercial” spirit in mind, here are two videos that made me laugh this week. This one has been making the internet rounds. It’s a plane safety video produced by Delta Airlines that people might actually watch, especially those of us with a sick fondness for the 80s. How many Eighties Icons can you name?

Love the VW commercial. Delta really should run this in the airports on a continuous loop. Love te 80’s!!!
The hint of rainbow at the end of the VW one cracked me up. Well…that and the big wings vs. little wings. 😉 And yeah, ads like Delta’s at the airport would be far more fun than the usual fare. 😀

I’ve only see the Bud one, they are always good. I’ve seen the horses up close at our rodeo, Damn they are big!!!!!
Clydes are awesome animals! I always anticipate the Bud Clydesdale commercials and I’ve never been disappointed. In recent years, I’ve only watched for the commercials. This year, because I like Manning, I’ll probably watch more of the game.
I’m avoiding the Super Bowl commercials until Sunday. I want to be surprised and amazed. Especially if the freakin’ Broncos are playing crappy.
I don’t think the VW angel one is actually part of VW’s Super Bowl package but I’m anxiously awaiting what’s coming so I can pick my winners and losers. That’s always an easy blog post! 😆
