Universal Time Travel

universeI was doing the Muppet Flail(tm) yesterday when I realized it was already Wednesday. And this is the next to the last day of the month. Where has February gone? I’m not ready for March! *more Muppet flail*

When I was scrolling back through my saved Universal messages, this one caught my eye. The Universe was sounding all Frodo-like but the…I don’t know…ambiguity(?) of the message struck me.

Between here and there, Silver, the only thing that matters is what you think, from now ’til then.

Choices, choices, choices –
The Universe

Silver, the past is simply what you choose to remember, if you even choose to remember it.

But you know? This makes sense, in a weird-not-sure-I-can-put-it-into-words way. I can’t change what’s been. I have no control over what will be. But I can learn from one in order to meet the other. I will stop now before I leave Middle Earth and go all Yoda.

Choices, you have them you do. Make good ones.

Which makes me wonder – was Star Wars really a re-telling of Lord of the Rings????

Great advice today – a good reminder to live in the moment 🙂

I’m sure there is some scholarly treatise on that very subject hanging around the world-wide web somewhere. 😆 Then again, according to some, there is only one original story and that’s the Iliad and the Odyssey. Or is that two stories?

  2. Ack. Thanks for reminding me. I still have one bill to pay. Seriously, thanks. I almost forgot. Stupid short month.

Now, about the Universe. Yep. Gotta makes the choices whether you want to or not. And all you can do is learn from the past to attack the future. Problem is, I don’t always get to choose what I remember about the past, so some of this I’m flying blind. Maybe I should use the force. ;o)

  3. Good advice to remember(no pun intended) 🙂
I have had a tendence to dwell on the past more then I have liked,(runs in the genes as in Mom), but I have tried and have not done it as much now.
You can’t change it, but you can learn from it (mistakes so to speak) thou
that last part I’m still working on *shakes head*
I agree where has the month gone, March is not my fave month, but I’ll get through it.
    Have a good day!

The past has a time and a place, Kimber. But it really can hold us back if we don’t walk away from it sometimes! March is my birth month so I’m rather fond of it. I’m waiting to see if my birthday daffodils will be blooming.

      Have a great day!
