Universal Advice

universeYa know? My dad pretty much said this same stuff to me. Over and over. And over again. At some point, I think it sort of stuck with me. Until doubts would set in. Dang but those suckers can sure scream loud in my ear. I have to concentrate to make them go away, nasty little devils. But you know what? The older I’ve gotten, the more I realize the Universe is on to something here.

Practice, Silver. Study. Prepare yourself. Think. Act. Face the beasts. Pay the piper whatever dues you think you have to pay. Do the dance, walk the fire, wait in line. Plant the seeds, hoe the field, go to market. Because on the day that you become all that you now dream of becoming… Oh my gosh, there is simply no price that would seem too great.

It’s going to be that good, you’re going to be that happy, and it’s going to be for so, so long, Silver. Guaranteed.

The Universe

Is “hoe” what they do out there, Silver?

Not sure what the answer to that last question is, but it doesn’t matter. I’m getting ready for the good times. How about y’all?

  1. Yeah, the hoe thing confused me – which isn’t too hard right now. The Universe is kinda rambly today, but it has a point. All of this crap we have to go through will be so worth it in the end when we win. And I’m ready for a lil’ winnin’. ;o)
