You know, I’m really starting to suspect that the Universe is a writer at heart. So many of it’s messages apply so well to the mind (and world) of a writer. The joy of writing fiction–for me, at least–is creating and understanding a world for my characters. I give it form and function, rules and rituals–the physics of place. What the Universe calls order, logic, and spirituality.
True brilliance, Silver, is not a function of understanding one’s view of the world and finding order, logic, and spirituality in it. True brilliance is understanding that your view of order, logic, and spirituality is what created your world.
And therefore being forever capable of changing everything.
The Universe

And yes, as a writer, I can change everything in my world. I shape the reality, molding it and my characters, layering the story within the world with my words. I don’t know how brilliant I am, but when the words come together, when the world is formed just right and the characters reach their full potential, then my reality is all good!
Here’s to reality, people! May each of us enjoy our own version of it. Thank goodness, my reality includes coffee. Lots and lots of coffee! ❤
I love reality. But I also love fiction. I love creating my own little stories within the real world, and I love creating my own world to tell stories in. Dang, life is fun.
And yes, reality is much more fun when there’s coffee in it. Especially first thing in the morning. I can’t human without it. =o)
I can’t human or adult without coffee. 😉 Here’s to a fun life and the minds of writers! *clinks coffee mugs*
