I’ll be the first to admit it. I don’t have a logical bone in my body and my brain doesn’t work that way. Except…it does. Sort of. Back in college, I was required to take a few math courses. Math is full of logic. Me? Yeah…no. My calculus professor, Dr. Brousseau, would have been bald, had he not kept his head all but shaved, because of me. All that hair-pulling angst I caused. See, I drove him a little (okay, probably a lot) crazy. See…I kept getting the right answer (more or less) to the math problems without working them logically as dictated by all the textbooks and hundreds of years of mathematicians. He would make me explain how I worked the problem. Suffice it to say that my logic was not his logic but I still managed by adding and subtracting steps that made no sense to get the right answer. When this little gem arrived from the Universe, I knew exactly what it meant. 😉
Sometimes, Silver, not always, but sometimes, being logical doesn’t negate the magic, it stirs it up, because not all miracles hide in the unseen.
Don’t be afraid to do the obvious… really well.

© http://www.tut.com ®Sometimes, Silver, miracles even hang around, waiting for you to call, write, or show up.
So go be logical and magical and find your miracle today. And don’t forget to call, write, and show up. Because it’s a new month and Christmas is coming and I have a new book out and love is in the air and I don’t have to do calculus ever again. Which is its own miracle. 😉
Actually, it sounds like you were being logical by cutting out the unnecessary steps. Go you. I never had to take much math in college. No calc. No trig. No stats. One business math. One college algebra – which sucked because the prof stuttered and her stuttering got worse if you asked her a question.
Shhh, no Christmas yet. Hubs was talking about Turkey Day this morning, and I wasn’t even ready for that yet.
Yay for your new book! I’m about 15% of the way in and it’s AWESOME.
Yeah…I thought my process made sense, but we ARE talking about math and mathematicians. 😆 Should I admit here that I never took down the Christmas tree? *hangs head in shame* And that reminds me. I need to take the witch door wreath down and put up the scarecrow. I’ll get right on that. 😉
