So…I have one resolution for 2018–either do all my Christmas shopping by Labor Day or do it on line. This is the third year in a row I’ve been sick over the holidays and I’m sick and tired! I managed the familial rounds on Christmas Day and then I went to bed and pretty much stayed there until today, and it was noon before I was actually out of bed and moving. This is not the way to start a fresh new year that should be full of promise, new dreams and aspirations, and…stuffs.
So, that’s the state of me physically. I know part of it is I stay away from people as a rule. I do the shopping but I don’t get close to other shoppers, I don’t interact with clerks–yay for self-checkout–and I fear I’m becoming such a recluse that if I weren’t so persnickety about picking out my own groceries, I’d surrender to the temptation to order my groceries on-line from Walmart and go pick them up. Actually, I wouldn’t even have to do that. They bring your groceries out to your car! Sadly, that would mean I got almost no exercise, which we won’t discuss.
So, I have plans for 2018. I have books to write. I’m not promising everything I WANT to write gets written but if things fall into place, here’s what’s contracted for followed by what I want to add:
Kindle World: March – Elle James’s Brotherhood Protectors
Harlequin Desire: Finals on Tucker’s book, write Cooper’s book and Bridger’s book, get contract for Boone, Dillon, and Hunter for 2019.
Nightriders: Wizard’s book and Gunner’s book (which is a Christmas story)
Hard Target: Book #2 (not sure yet who’s story it will be. I’m hoping Kin’s)
The Penumbra Papers: Book #5 – Ariel, Book 4.5 – a Sade/Sinjen novella
Moonstruck Mob: If and when. I still want to do the three serials – Irish, Russian, and Italian. All it takes is time and inspiration.
Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season and a safe New Year celebration. May 2018 bring you all things warm and wonderful, fulfilled dreams, and many, many books read and/or written!
