As y’all might have noticed, not all of my heroines are great cooks. *ducks book thrown by Hannah* But since Christmas parties are coming and readers might want to get into the season, Quin Kincaid Tate admitted that she’s made this dip and every time she took it to Troop A the OHP troopers swarmed and all but licked the bowl. Now she fixes it for the Tate family and the guys in Deacon’s band, the Sons of Nashville. If you haven’t read the book, click on the cover and head over to Harlequin. Do you have a favorite dip or other go-to dish that you always take to holiday get-togethers?
Get togethers? Umm… no. I do love me some dips, though. I make this stuff with refried beans, salsa, and cheese that I call ‘Crack Dip’. Totally addictive. Another one I used to make when we still had the Kid at home involves cream cheese softened and smushed along the bottom and sides of a bowl, salsa poured in the middle, covered in shredded cheese and microwaved until the sprinkled cheese is melted. And spinach/artichoke dip. And French onion dip. And… Okay, I did say I loved me some dips. ;o)
Those are all good ones. I make a mean hot-n-cheesy spinach/artichoke dip too. 🙂 And yeah. I only do the people thing when I have to. 😛
My friends always want my rum cake. Work as well.
I’ve heard awesome things about your rum cake! 😀

Yum! I have a good one that I got from a local landmark restaurant that has since closed. We always ordered the S&A dip! 😀
My ass gained 5lbs just reading it
Yeah, but I bet the guys and gals down at the station would like it. 😉
