Monday’s Like That

How can this be the last week of February? I mean, I know this is a short month but duuuude! It just ain’t right that this month is gone. Dang it. Time is flying too freaking fast. I need to slow it down so I can catch up. Today’s update is a quicky because life is short and mine’s been totally boring.

First…BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ❤ the St. Louis Cardinals. But I'll watch anyone play baseball. And Spring Training games are starting and they…are…TELEVISED! Can i get an amen? Okay, yes, extreme but BASEBALLLLL!!!!!

Okay. Writing. Still not talking about that. Just…no. Next week, maybe.

Reading. OMGWTFBBQ! Kristen Ashley's Honey Club series is some seriously hot shitstuff. I’m not sure what that says about this old lady who is now considering opening up a YouTube channel called Granny Panty’s Bedtime Stories wherein I read sexy passages for fun and titilation. Yeah…no. But this books? Wowser. And the characters? So damaged and so redeemed and so perfect. *happy sigh* I may have to take time off for a couple days once I finish just to recuperate.

TV. BASEBALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh. I said that already. This week “The Masked Singer” comes to an end. It’s been awesome covered in crazysauce. I’ve even guessed a couple of the unmasked singers before the masks came off. Down to three now and we’ll see. Also, “Live PD.” I need to keep a pen and pad handy so I can write down the best lines because I never remember them later and I’m too interested in watching to get up and find something to write on. It’s even the same when I’m catching them on DVR.

I still have the last vestiges of the crud. Not hacking a lung up but I wheeze when I lay down and the sound bugs me. I’m still coughing but not hard or often. Still getting a few hot flashes followed by chills. Aches are mostly gone. The big thing in energy level. I’m good for about 20 minutes and then…zip. I got nada. I’m ready for it to go away.

We enjoyed having Big Foot for a sleepover Saturday night. He came after dinner, played Hot Wheels with his Big Daddy, then he got his Wookie pjs on, crawled up in the bed in “his” toy room (the guest room but yeah, pretty much his toy room 😆 ) and was asleep in 15 minutes. His mother isn’t speaking to me. 😉 Part of it was a full day of activities including a birthday party. We got up this morning and met for breakfast at a favorite place for the hostage handover. I think the kids enjoyed their free night.

And that’s it for me. What’s good…or bad…going on in your worlds?

  1. February just flew right the hell by, didn’t it? Whoosh. Yay for baseball! This crud, whatever form it is, takes for-freakin-ever to get over. Hang in there. :hugs:

Nothing major going on here. For some reason, I’m dragging my feet on writing the end of this book. I even know what’s going to happen. Ugh. Okay, so I don’t know 100% what’s going to happen. I have to bridge this last scene with what comes next and I’m not sure how, but that shouldn’t be stopping me. Ugh. Other than that, we watched baseball and golf (yay, golf is back, too) and just generally lazed around. Hit the lake for about an hour and drowned a worm. Nothing was biting, so we just enjoyed being at the lake.

Got something to say?
