Friday Sinema: Play Like a Girl

Even though my OSU Cowgirls were on the wrong side of some of these plays, my OU Sooners made up for it. Wanna know why I love softball and watch every chance I get? Take the next five minutes and see how hard and well these young women play! Have a great weekend. If you are under the heat dome, stay cool!

  1. I had a friend once who used to play softball. Not quite to the caliber of these girls, since it was just a local league, but still. These are hard-working gals. I was never any good at softball.

We are under the heat dome. But the lawn still needs finishing, so I’ll be doing that this morning. And drinking copious amounts of water while I sweat like a pig. (Yeah, pig’s don’t sweat, but you know what I mean.) I tell ya, I better see some downward movement of the scale numbers this weekend or I’m going spit. There will also be writing this weekend. I finished reading the manuscript and started back on it last night. Details to follow on the blog… which I probably should go write now.

I’ll head over to the blog. 😉 And yeah, this heat $h!+ is for the cacti. We need to figure out something that REALLY sweats so we can leave the poor pigs alone.

I think I might have figured out something of a story hook for the Christmas novella so I’m hoping there’s words this weekend too! Can’t wait to see what’s up with you there! Have a great weekend!

Got something to say?
