Full Moon Monday

Who saw the full moon last night? 🙋🏼‍♀️

The weekend was nice and cool. Sadly, a bit of heat is coming back this week but we’re talking highs in the mid-80s so I really can’t complain. Humidity is not really a factor. Which is nice.

If y’all are into humorous paranormal romance, and you haven’t read Shelly Laurenston, you need to! Her Honey Badger Chronicles make me laugh. Often out loud. The newest release is TO KILL A BADGER. I would shuggest starting at the beginning so you know who the characters are. The badgers are a spin off from her main Pride Series. The way she characterizes the various breeds in their human form really does crack me up. I also finished up Jayne Ann Krentz’s Fogg Lake trilogy. Interesting paranormal suspense and you can mostly get the gist of things even though it is an adjacent series to her overall Arcane Society universe. Needless to say, I’ve had some great book listenting this past week and weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, the best laid plans and all that. It was First Saturday but due to circumstances and on account of because, no siren test for me. PITA Pup is still being mostly a PITA in public and we decided it was just easier for me to stay home. Then the Sunday soccer game got canceled because they couldn’t get refs. There was also college football but I’m not going there. Cowboy Nation is hanging their heads.

Writing got done. At least a little. ‘Nuff said about that. Pretty sure y’all are sick of my whining about this book.

On that note, I’ll stop boring you, finishing off my first cup of coffee, and considering what the heck I’m going to do today to procrastinate instead of write. 🤣 How was your weekend?

Good Morning Silver. Sounds like you had a hectic, but yet productive, weekend! Frustrating morning here so far. It took three tries to get a fresh-tasting coffee pod. I just know they tossed some in that box that came over on the Mayflower.☕☕☕

YIkes! I’m so sorry about your pod problem. Since I “make” my one single serves, I don’t seem to have that problem with bagged coffee. I’m too lazy to do beans and grind my own. LOL

Hope your coffee finally kicks in and the day turned out brighter than it’s start!

I make my own single serves occasionally too. I keep a bag of the same brand as my favorite pods. I’m just lazy and don’t want to clean up the mess. I always have to spill some here and there.

The moon was huge and so bright. I think it was the Corn Moon, right?

The weekend was nice and cool here too with a few showers in the morning both days.

Sorry about not getting to do First Saturday. Toby is really a challenge. Sure hope he starts responding soon.

    Have a wonderful week!

Yes, the corn moon. And some places there was an eclipse whick also created a blood moon. Yay for cooler weather. I hope it stays for you. Toby IS a challenge. Part of it is his age. The breeds are both stubborn and should be trained from puppyhood. Just takes time and paitence. He’s smart. And stubburn. Eventually, he’ll figure it out. Have a great week!
